Manchester United target Matthijs De Ligt has reportedly had his car seized by police for an alleged hit-and-run incident.

WHAT HAPPENED?
According to German publication Bild, Munich police are investigating the 24-year-old on suspicion of hit-and-run. The report claims the centre-back rammed into a parked car near Bayern's training ground on Sabener Strasse on Wednesday, before driving off.

Bild alleges that a witness is said to have observed the incident in Grodner Strasse at around 10am, with De Ligt reportedly on his way to training in an Audi Q8 e-tron. The report adds the Dutchman's car was allegedly towed away, seized and now police officers are investigating the damage to the vehicle.

Bild also claims that De Ligt is about to leave Bayern for Manchester United. They state the German giants want approximately £42.8 million ($54.5m) for the 6ft 2in defender, but the Red Devils are reluctant to pay that much for his services.
